One of the most superstitious players to ever wear a uniform, did you know that Wade Boggs ate chicken before every game?  I won't list them all here, but seriously, I highly encourage you to read about Wade Boggs and his superstitions.  Aside from his quirks, he was one of the greatest hitters of all time, winning multiple batting championships, getting elected into the Hall of Fame and winning a World Series with the Yankees in 1996.
